A: Four participants will be supervised by one, or sometimes two, staff at one time
Q: What are some examples of volunteer activities?
A: There are many places that the DCOP participants volunteer, including:
- The Regional Food Bank
- Meals on Wheels
- The Capital City Rescue Mission
- the Senior Service’s Kitchen
- Wunsapana Llama Farm
- Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Q: In case of emergency, how can the staff members and participants be reached?
A: Each staff member is assigned a cell phone which is used to communicate activity cancellations, schedule changes, and other issues to the county manager throughout the day.
Q: Can participants have a job and still come to DCOP part time?
A: Yes! We have many participants who work part time and attend DCOP on their days off.
